It is with special pride that through our foundation we work with surgeons and hospitals to help those with the most need. The NuVasive Spine Foundation (NSF) is dedicated to providing life-changing spine surgery to individuals in disadvantaged communities across the globe, and advancing spine surgery technology in these communities by training local surgeons.
NSF recently partnered on a mission trip with Dr. Kamal Ibrahim and St. Paul’s Coptic Medical Missions in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The group performed life changing spine surgeries at St. Paul Millennium Medical College.

Along with treatment of patients, the team was able to train local surgeons on how to perform the latest cutting-edge procedures. This training will make a lasting impact in the community for years to come. It allows for future doctors in the region the opportunity to provide the best possible treatment for spinal abnormalities.
