Clinical Professional Development

The NuVasive CPD program focuses on surgeon development through the design and delivery of innovative clinical education programs.

Clinical education redesigned.

By using modern education principles, competency-based curriculum, and multi-modal learning pathways, the CPD team and its dedicated surgeon faculty provide an unparalleled learning experience for surgeons and their staff around the globe.

Virtual Spine Conference

CPD is committed to delivering a variety of educational opportunities for our surgeon partners. The Virtual Spine Conference, a recorded webinar series, features renowned surgeon faculty, and provides clinical insights into either deformity or degenerative areas of interest.

The west coast Experience Center

Home to the CPD team, the new 28,000 square-foot NuVasive Experience Center features an enhanced cadaveric lab, a procedural showcase floor and increased meeting space for surgeons and employees.

NuVasive Experience Centers

In 2020, we opened our West Coast Experience Center which hosts our CPD and market-leading surgeon education program. This facility offers competency-based trainings and cadaveric trainings on NuVasive procedural solutions, allowing for a hands-on learning experience. In an effort to provide educational opportunities for surgeons during the COVID-19 pandemic, our CPD team offered virtual trainings and remote labs to continue educating surgeons on less-invasive surgical techniques.

We are excited to share that the NuVasive CPD surgeon education program has expanded with the addition of an East Coast Experience Center in Englewood, New Jersey. With dual premier training sites on both sides of the U.S., the CPD program will aim to reach more surgeons globally, to ultimately impact the lives of more patients.
