Happy Holidays from our NUVA family to yours! We are in the final hustle of Q4, working hard to get to 2018 while still enjoying those last couple happy hours to celebrate the season with our coworkers. In all of December’s busyness, it’s important that we all take a step back and remind ourselves of why this season brings so much joy to those around us. For NuVasive, it’s a multitude of reasons. Realizing what an impact we’ve made in the healthcare industry through our 15 product launches this year, seeing our immediate and expanded teams within the organization come together, and creating more memories with our family and friends in and outside of the workplace.
One of our favorite aspects of the season is the increased opportunity to give back through local charities! Our sites across the nation participated in the holiday spirit by volunteering at different organizations with their fellow Shareowners. Memphis collected toys for the Mid-South Toys for Tots program, San Diego HQ collected toys for Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego and adopted a local military family, and West Carrollton (OH) ran a Coats for Kids drive for the holidays.
Shareowners held departmental celebrations as well! The HR team split up between Talent Management and Benefits to host a cubicle decorating contest.
Globally, our NuVasive locations planned holiday outings with their teams! To name a few, NUVA EMEA participated in an escape room (which one team did escape!) and NUVA Italy enjoyed a nice dinner.
