FAQ's

How far in advance must I submit a request?

We recommend a minimum of eight weeks in advance of the activity. It is important to note, NuVasive Grants operates on a calendar fiscal year with a limited allocation of funding. All requests are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. For a greater likelihood of budget availability, we recommend submitting a request as early as possible in the calendar year.

Can I submit a request after the submission deadline for the current year?

Yes, all requests submitted throughout the year will be considered; however, we strongly recommend that requests are submitted in advance of the deadlines provided for greater likelihood of budget availability.

How will I know that my request has been received?

A confirmation email will be sent to the requester when the application and supporting documents are received.

How long is the review process?

Each request is reviewed by the NuVasive Grants Committee who meet once a month. Please allow eight weeks for review and committee decision. If a request requires expedition, please provide justification in the online form.

Will the grant funding that I receive be reportable under the Sunshine Act?

Certain transfers of value to U.S. physicians or U.S. teaching hospitals, whether provided directly or through affiliated organizations, must be disclosed in accordance with the Sunshine Act.

Is there a difference between International and U.S. grant requests?

Yes, regulatory and compliance rules vary by country. As a global organization, we support activities based on the local laws. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions specific to your region.

Can I submit a request for an exhibit fee only?

Exhibit fee requests are managed by the NuVasive Event Marketing Team. Please send request and any supporting materials to [email protected].
