The success of this unique lateral approach for spine surgery and the XLIF® procedure led to the formation and enthusiastic proliferation of SOLAS. The 200+ like-minded professionals comprising SOLAS are seeking to advance the science, application, and study of lateral access spine surgery. One key area of interest for SOLAS members is the next frontier in lateral access spine surgery – motion preservation with XL TDR.
